I have over 25 years of social work practice and experience working within government agencies, non- profit organizations, and in private practice settings. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work and am professionally licensed by the Florida Department of Health and the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board to provide psychotherapy services and treatment.

I have extensive knowledge, experience and expertise working with children and adults who have experienced trauma.
Other areas of focus include anxiety, phobias, depression, mood disorders, grief & loss, adolescent issues, and adjustment disorders.

I am professionally trained in EMDR and utilize this treatment modality with many of my clients. I also practice other evidenced-based treatment models including CBT, Mindfulness, Clinical Hypnosis, EFT, Systems, Narrative and Solution-Focused brief therapy. To obtain the best therapeutic results, a blend of several models is typically offered during the course of treatment.
